It's perfection
I want to hear this in a dark club whilst a vampire is forcing himself on me telling me he can give me a life i've only ever dreamt of widge84

For me it’s two records that stands out of a crowded field of 80’s nostalgia driven albums in the last ten years: Linea Aspera-Self Titled and Silent EM-Foreign States. Silent EM accomplished something truly magnificent here, it is not new wave, not quite EBM, not really industrial either and it’s definitely not punk however it is just the most clever blend of it all. Effortless and simple, melodic and hard, contagious and addictive and it is a masterpiece of mood and style with a great album cover and no filler tracks. I want more, more, and more. And I want it know. Take me back to the place where we cut ourselves and partied against daylight in dark dungeons where we were safe. Take me back where synth pop was too soft but rock was to traditional. The energy of punk was running in our veins but we dared to worship electronic sound and noise. Take me back. Altered States
